November 3, 2017 / Motherhood
I’m currently in a candy coma (while Evan is in a milk coma), while going through photos from this month. It is so much fun to celebrate holidays with a babe. There’s this infinite amount of joy to see the world new again. It makes every experience — from seeing the leaves shift color, to visiting the pumpkin patch, to dressing up in costumes on Halloween— feel like the happiest moments ever.
I (somehow) always convince Jake and my pup to dress up in a family-themed costume on Halloween. In the past, we’ve been superheroes and party animals. But this year, with a BABY, it was so much fun to daydream about dressing up my boy in adorable costumes. Plus, I know I’ll only have a year or two of picking out Ev’s costumes (after that, he’ll be telling ME what he wants)!
After lottttts of scouring Pinterest for some inspiration, I decided to channel Sandy and Danny from GREASE. I obviously needed to see my baby with a slicked hairdo and a leather jacket!
Of course, no sane mother buys a leather jacket for their 6-month-old, so I couldn’t find Evan’s size anywhere. Soooo, I had a jacket made for my babe and my pup. Should I feel ashamed?!?! I don’t.
Here are photos from Evan Grey’s first Halloween (and trip to the pumpkin patch)…
Costumes // Black Top: American Apparel | Black Leggings: American Apparel | Heels: Christian Louboutin
Evan’s Beanie: H&M | Evan’s Sweatpants: Sol Angeles | Evan’s Tee: Kickee Pants | Evan’s Jacket: Moncler
