A lot of you have been asking for a nigttime skincare routine video — and I actually filmed this months ago, but my #momlife brain forgot all about it until now. Nighttime skincare has always been number one for me, because our skin heals so significantly overnight. I religiously wash my face before bed everyday, no matter how exhausted I feel. Washing away old makeup and oily skin is a good first step in keeping your skin consistent. I love a handful of cleansers, but most recently I’ve been using Ole Henriksen Face the Truth cleanser because it consistently removes everything I don’t want on my skin overnight. I follow up with Kopari’s clean toner afterwards, to ensure I’ve removed any leftover makeup. It also helps to reduce redness and it calms my skin overnight.
I am also really into serums right now — and I’ve been loving a brand called Edible Beauty. Their ageless serum sinks into my skin really well. Of course, I always Summer Fridays jet lag mask in my routine. I’ll apply a layer all over my face and neck, especially focusing on my under eyes. This significantly helps with hydrating dry skin overnight, so you wake up with that GLOW. You’ll notice how your skin quite literally soaks it in, as though your cells needed a giant glass of water! Finally, I finish with my favorite lip mask from Bite Beauty. This totally changes the texture of my lips for the better!
