Let’s be real – a family vacation rarely every feels like a vacation if you know what I mean. Traveling with two kids is no joke, yet somehow always worth it! Ev had some time off for spring break so we headed to our favorite resort in Cabo. It’s a place Jake and I usually go for some time together sans kiddos, full of lots of pool naps and spicy margs. However it was somehow even more special with Evan and Ella in tow! The warm sunny days together playing in the water feel like an old journal entry irl, something I’ve always dreamed of.
I travel so much at this point in my life I consider myself to be an *expert* packer. Picking a general color scheme is always helpful to maximize outfit options. I’ll start collecting things on a hanging rack about a week in advance and try everything on. Then I’ll organize packing cubes by the days and nights I’m away so I don’t overpack. I share more about my packing/jet lag tips here!
Here’s a photo diary of the trip + links to what I packed!
