I’ve always believed perspective is power, and when we see movement as JOY rather than dread; as mental medicine rather than mere physical strength; as a giver of life rather than a taker of rest, then we are able to indulge in it free of expectations or excuses. then we are able to move with intention. then we are able to move for ourselves. then we are able to move alongside our others — sometimes, our sons and daughters — who undoubtedly see and hear how we speak to our bodies.
